Welcome to student assessment



The Office of Student Assessment strives to inform and educate students, parents, teachers, community members and stakeholders about information as it relates to student assessment in the Leflore County School District. The Office of Assessment oversees all district and state testing for the Leflore County School District. The Office of Curriculum and Student Assessment oversee data analysis from state and district assessments.

Assessments currently include:

  • Mississippi K-3 Assessment Support System (MKAS2) – Grades K – 3
  • K- Readiness -MKAS2- Pre-K-K
  • Mississippi Curriculum Test – Questar- Grades 3-8
  • Mississippi Science Test 2 (MST2) – Grade 5 and Grade 8
  • Renaissance STAR Reading & Math Assessments – Grades 1-6
  • Renaissance STAR Early Literacy Assessments – Grades Pre-K-K
  • Northwest Evaluation Association-Measures of Academic Progress (NWEA MAP)- K-11
  • Educational Leadership Solutions Benchmark Assessment – Grades K-8
  • TE21 Case Assessments- Grades 9-12
  • English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) –LAS LINKS
  • Subject Area Testing Program 3 (SATP3) – Algebra I and English II- High School
  • Subject Area Testing Program 2 (SATP2) – Biology and U.S. History – High School
  • American College Test (ACT) – Grade 11
  • Mississippi Career Planning and Assessment System (MS-CPAS-2)- Vocational Education Students
  • National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) – Grades 4 and 8 (when assigned)
  • Mississippi Alternate Assessment Program for ELA, Math and Science (MAAP)
