Professional Learning

Building teacher capacity through on-going professional learning

 

The purpose of professional learning is to improve the quality of teaching and learning. It is the goal of the Leflore County School District to ensure that all staff demonstrates an increase in knowledge and skills through professional learning activities that will meet the learning needs of our students.

Our professional learning program will build skills and capacities for improvement through comprehensive and ongoing professional learning activities which focus on the schools’ and district’s goals for improvement. Sound and practical professional learning programs will be the link to establishing good instructional practices that enhance the knowledge of curriculum content and design.
